Bots

The following are a list of bots that have been approved to operate on the Countervandalism Network. Note that while any bot is permitted to simply idle in any CVN channels, only those bots listed below are permitted to be speaking on CVN channels. Bots not listed are asked to refrain from doing the aforementioned.

Because of the nature of the CVN and the advances in technology, it is possible for one to create a bot that can perform a variety of functions. As a result, it is important, especially for the purposes of the CVN, that fellow CVN members as well as the staff are made aware of all bots on the network as well as their functions. Problems have resulted in the past due to users' and staffers' lack of knowledge of certain bot functions; this page is intended to kill said lack of knowledge with fire.

If you wish to operate a bot on the CVN, please come to the #countervandalism IRC channel and discuss it with a staffer. Knowledge is power, and the more we know about your activities on the CVN, the better off you and us will be.
